Introduction

Established in 1989 in Liphook Hampshire, Traviss & Co provide a range of accounting, taxation and outsourcing to help run your business delivered by a knowledgeable, professional team. We strongly believe the working relationship should allow the client to feel that as advisors we are approachable and any advice given is communicated in a manner that is understood.

We try to remove the hassle from compliance requirements so leaving you to concentrate on running your business. We recognise you may also need business advice and support in addition to accountancy and taxation and we see ourselves as helping to fulfil that role.

Our team

Malcolm Traviss (FCA)

After qualifying in 1974 Malcolm worked in a major London audit firm for two years before leaving the profession to move into industry, working as finance accountant of £20m printing ink manufacturer.

Two years later he joined as FD of a subsidiary of a Surrey based plc. In a nine year period he was promoted to group accountant, then corporate planner and finally the managing director to the manufacturing subsidiary in South Wales. His final appointment was MD of specialist defence subsidiary manufacturer in Surrey.

In 1989 he established Traviss & Co and has successfully run this from Liphook providing professional services to individuals and businesses in various sectors.

Nikki Roberts (FCCA)

After graduating from college with a diploma in Business and Accounting, Nikki joined Traviss & Co and undertook her professional exams. On passing these she became practice manager and now has over 15 years of experience specialising mostly in accounts production, auditing and taxation for businesses and individuals.

Lucy Farnell (FCCA)

On completing her higher education, Lucy undertook her professional training with Traviss & Co. On successful completion of this, she worked on all aspects of our business services. In 2010 she concentrated her expertise on taxation for individuals and trusts and now heads up our tax department.

Chris Meech (FCA)

Chris has considerable experience in both private and in industry. His specialist areas include business start ups, valuations, acquisitions & disposals and ongoing management advice. He has an active involvement in local charities and community events.
